Hose Splitter: Manual First Flush

This inexpensive hose splitter can be used as a manual first flush solution. Connect directly to your RainHarvest PROs or ADAPTs and connect a collection hose to one side. Leave the side with the collection hose closed and the unconnected side open for the first 10min or so of rainfall. Then switch. 

This will allow rainwater with any contaminants and/or debris to flow out and onto the ground. Once you switch the valves, you can be sure you are collecting rainwater free of debris.
